NEW! Next Friday! PTO Donut Day! Donut Day is approaching quickly on Friday, October 10th at 8:00 am on our Tonawanda playground!  Please join your children for a donut on the playground. Please be sure that your child(ren) is/are accompanied by one adult. Both parking lots will be available for parking, however our south lot near the new gym will need to be cleared at 8:30 AM. We need volunteers to help with the event.  Please sign up here to help: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0945ABAB2AAAFDCF8-59020679-tonawanda

Our PTO October Meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY, October 7th at 6 PM in our library. Hopefully you can join us!  If you cannot join in person, please join us here: meet.google.com/bzv-evwm-goa.

Donations of paper grocery bags needed! We use 8 paper bags a day for our cafeteria composting stations.  Please send in your paper bags!  Please note that paper bags from Whole Foods and Fresh Thyme are too short for our composting bins and cannot be used in our composting bins.  Also, paper bags that have labels on them (ex, from a grocery delivery service) cannot be used in the composting bins either.  Thank you!

Please return the Welcome to Tonawanda yard signs to the bin outside of our main entrance as soon as possible.  We reuse these signs to welcome students and families each fall.  Thank you for your help in returning the signs for next year!

Reminder: Students' Personal Electronic Devices. In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 118.258, student use of electronic communication devices, including two-way communication devices such as cellular phones, smart watches, or instant messaging devices is prohibited during the instructional school day. Students who must have phone or electronic devices during the day must keep them in their lockers or backpacks. The District shall not be responsible for the safety or security of personal electronic equipment that students choose to bring to school. (Policy 6177 - Appropriate Use of Technology.) Thank you, families, for your understanding and cooperation of this policy.

Due to large ridership on our buses, only routed students will be allowed on the buses again this school year.  We cannot have unrouted students ride home with other students on their buses for playdates. Only routed and assigned bus riders may be on our buses.  Thank you for your understanding!

Background Check Process for Volunteers!  We love  our family/parent/grandparent volunteers!  In hopes that we will be able to welcome you all back in to help out this upcoming school year, we wanted to share the process for becoming a volunteer in our schools.  Please see https://www.elmbrookschools.org/departments/human-resources/how-to-volunteer-in-elmbrook for all the information including completing our district's volunteer background check process.  You will need to renew this process every two years.  It is a great idea to get this task done over the summer as there is an approximate two week processing time before you are able to volunteer in our school. Thank you!
