NEW! Our State Assessment Window: WI Forward continues for our third, fourth, and fifth grade students after Spring Break, specifically for our fourth grade students and make-up testing for all three grade levels. State testing is a great opportunity for our students to shine and showcase the incredible progress they’ve made throughout the year. While these assessments help us understand how to better support our learners, we know that a child’s best work happens when they feel their best. To help our students feel confident and focused, we ask that you prioritize plenty of rest and a nutritious, filling breakfast each morning. Our goal is for every student to walk into the classroom feeling calm, energized, and ready to do their personal best! Our third and fifth grade students are assessed in the areas of literacy and math. Our fourth grade students are tested in the areas of literacy, math, science, and social studies.

Third Quarter Report Cards and Progress Reports will be available to families on Friday, April 10th at 3:30 PM through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. All students in G1 through G5 will have report cards available for review.  At the third quarter end, our 4K and 5K students do not have report cards and our specials (art, music, PE, band, or orchestra) do not report out.

Pop Tab Collection for Ronald McDonald House. Save your pop tabs! Our Community Outreach group of Student Leadership Club would like to announce a friendly grade level competition to collect the most pop tabs from March 23 - May 14. We will be donating all of the pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. The grade level that brings in the most pop-tabs will be getting a prize.

IMPORTANT! Change of Plans for After-School Dismissal. Please notify us of any change in your child(ren)'s after school dismissal plans.  Please send an email to your child's teacher and copy both our administrative assistant Mrs. Michelle Kiese at kiesem@elmbrookschools.org and our health room assistants at tonawandahealthroom@elmbrookschools.org  as early as you can in the morning, but for certain before noon.  After 12 noon, we cannot guarantee that your child's teacher will get the email as they are busy teaching and working with our students, and likely not checking email. If plans change after 12 noon, please call the MAIN SCHOOL OFFICE at 262-785-3950 to talk to Mrs. Michelle Kiese about the plans. Thank you for your assistance in keeping consistent plans for your child(ren) and for communicating with us when the plans need to change.

Before school drop-off by car is an ACTIVE DROP-OFF process. If your child needs additional assistance to exit your vehicle in the morning, please pull up into the buckle zone. The LANE closest to the sidewalk is an ACTIVE DROP-OFF LANE.  Thank you for your help to keep our car drop-off safe for our students and efficient for all of our families.  Please read all the expectations for our safe AM drop off in this linked information.

ARTSONIA- Featuring Your child(ren)'s artwork!  Check out Artsonia to purchase keepsake items and to support our Tonawanda art program, too! See this flyer for all the information.  If you have questions, please reach out to Sara Mateske, our art teacher, at mateskes@elmbrookschools.org.

Vacation Form: Please complete this vacation form when your child(ren) will miss three or more days due to a family vacation. Thank you!

Due to large ridership on our buses, only routed students will be allowed on the buses again this school year.  We cannot have unrouted students ride home with other students on their buses for playdates. Only routed and assigned bus riders may be on our buses.  Thank you for your understanding!

Background Check Process for Volunteers!  We love  our family/parent/grandparent volunteers!  In hopes that we will be able to welcome you all back in to help out this upcoming school year, we wanted to share the process for becoming a volunteer in our schools.  Please see https://www.elmbrookschools.org/departments/human-resources/how-to-volunteer-in-elmbrook for all the information including completing our district's volunteer background check process.  You will need to renew this process every two years.  It is a great idea to get this task done over the summer as there is an approximate two week processing time before you are able to volunteer in our school. Thank you!
